A 1459 

Prohibits the sale of certain children’s products containing lead, mercury, or cadmium.

A1459 (Moriarty, Johnson, Benson) NJEA supports developing effective ways to protect students, staff, and community members from the dangers of lead exposure. This legislation would help ensure that children are protected from additional potential sources of lead, mercury, and cadmium.  Taking these steps will go a long way towards improving the health and safety of children, which should be paramount.
