Establishes “New Jersey STEM Scholars Grant Pilot Program” in Department of Education

A192 (Carter, Kennedy, Timberlake) STEM fields—science, technology, engineering, and mathematics—have always been important, but they have taken on an even greater magnitude as our society becomes more technological.  New Jersey students must be exposed to these fields and prepared to enter a world and society with technology at its core.  STEM fields will continue to play a vital role in our workforce and this bill takes an important step forward in enhancing the educational opportunity for students interested in these vital fields.
