A 2863 (Moen, Swain, Tully) S 968 (Singleton) A 5343 (Schaer, McKnight, Spearman, Karabinchak)  NJEA supports developing effective ways to protect students, staff, and community members from the dangers of lead exposure. Without knowing the extent of the problem in our local infrastructure, it is impossible to begin the process of developing ways to protect children from this harmful environmental toxin. These bills begin the process of documenting the extent of the problem and finding ways to reduce lead exposure.  Taking these steps will go a long way towards improving the health and safety of children.

 NJEA urges you to SUPPORT A 2863/S 968 and A 5343.
