Establishes Safe and Equitable Remote Learning Pilot Program in DOE to support provision of remote learning safe havens by certain school districts
A 4789 (Spearman, Schaer, Reynolds-Jackson) NJEA supports this pilot program to provide safe places where children can access the Internet and other resources for remote learning. This bill addresses a critical need in many communities for more areas where students can complete schoolwork while practicing social distancing and other measures. This bill also incorporates necessary safety considerations.
