Establishes task force to evaluate quality, efficacy, costs, and educational outcomes of online courses offered by public and independent institutions of higher education and degree-granting proprietary institutions during COVID-19 pandemic
A 4836 (Giblin, Benson, Downey) NJEA supports the mission of the task force to explore recommendations coming out of the abrupt shift to online instruction that occurred during the pandemic. The sudden nature of the change resulted in many challenges for students and staff alike, and the task force will have an opportunity to examine best practices or other lessons learned. This work can help ensure that any other emergency situations in the future may have procedures in place to minimize disruptions.
