Expands scope of law prohibiting age discrimination.

A 681 (Vainieri Huttle, McKnight, DeCroce)    This bill amends current law to extend protections against age discrimination.  NJEA opposes all forms of discrimination and believes that the rights and remedies available for other types of discrimination should also be made available for these claims. The bill also rightfully seeks to remove outmoded and outdated age discrimination language in the sphere of public employment.
