Condemns hate and bias crime

AR 139 (Vainieri Huttle, Murphy)  NJEA condemns all acts of hate and bias. As educators, our 200,000 members bear a great responsibility for shaping society. We work with children and young people as they are forming their values and world view. We have a duty and responsibility to work for a better and more just world for our students. As an organization, we embrace diversity and stand up to bias and hate of all forms in our schools and society. Therefore, NJEA supports AR139.
