S 2507

Permits school district to use capital reserve account funds for certain expenses during state of emergency

S 2507 (Gopal, Greenstein) NJEA understands that school districts are facing a financial crisis due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Allowing school districts access to capital reserve account funds for certain expenses during a state of emergency will help them meet their financial obligations. Ultimately, New Jersey must ensure that public schools have the resources necessary to provide a thorough and efficient education for our students.

NJEA urges you to support S 2507.
