Increases child care provider payments and revises hourly limits on child care for school-aged children under subsidized child care assistance program during 2020-2021 school year

S 2908 (Ruiz, Corrado) Due to the ongoing COVID pandemic the need for childcare has increased as families navigate altered school schedules, as well as hybrid and remote learning. This legislation would help child care providers be fairly compensated for their services. Ultimately, it is critical that New Jersey’s families have access to high quality and affordable childcare during this challenging time.
