Requires State to pay difference between federal allocation and total cost of reduced price breakfast or lunch; appropriates $4.5 million.
NJEA believes that no student should go hungry. Every student should have access to high quality, nutritious foods. Children who are hungry in school cannot achieve their best socially, emotionally, or academically. It is important that children in school are fed, and allocating funds so children who qualify for reduced lunch receive it at no cost, will ensure they are.
