Establishes School and Small Business Energy Efficiency Stimulus Program in BPU

S 3033 (Sweeney, Singleton) NJEA supports this important bill to help revitalize our school’s HVAC systems.  While the pandemic has made it imperative to improve airflow in our classrooms, the sad truth is that many schools were already struggling with outdated, inefficient, and ineffective HVAC systems that couldn’t even reduce common allergens and maintain temperature.  Updating these systems will address an urgent need and promote a productive learning environment for all students.
