Establishes Task Force for the Development of Universal Child Care

S 3257 (Singleton) NJEA supports this bill’s creation of a task force to examine the critical issue of universal child care. The benefits of access to child care extend well beyond economic and societal effects to the improvement of developmental and educational outcomes for children. Given the positive potential for students and families by having universal access to child care, NJEA looks forward to the completion of the work of this task force and its ensuing recommendations.
