Codifies same-sex marriage in the statutes

A 5367 (Vainieri Huttle, Jasey, Quijano, Zwicker, Downey) NJEA strongly supports marriage equality and every member’s right under the 14th Amendment to the U.S. Constitution to equal protection under the law. This bill would codify what is already existing law in New Jersey and enshrine it across all of New Jersey’s statutes. NJEA also asserts that we must demonstrate through our actions that all should be treated equally. This bill would do so by ensuring that all of New Jersey government conforms to this value.
