Condemns hate and violent extremism and commits to defense of safe and just democracy

AJR 208 (McKnight, Benson, Vainier Huttle) SJR 109 (Weinberg) NJEA condemns the violent assault that occurred on our democracy on January 6. This assault was fueled by hate, lies, conspiracy theories and misinformation, many of which continue to this day.  This unprecedented threat cannot be left to fester. The peaceful transition of power must always be respected and efforts to threaten it must always be opposed.
