Urges Congress to pass legislation to remove Confederate statues in US Capitol building

AR178 (Moen)  NJEA believes in racial and social justice for all.  We support urging Congress to remove Confederate statues from the United States Capitol, returning them back to their respective states or museums where they can be placed in proper context. Emblems of a history of oppression and forced servitude should not be enshrined in the US Capitol building.
