S 1154 (Ruiz)  SR 24 (Ruiz) NJEA supports practices and programs aimed at improving school climate and culture and ending the school-to-prison pipeline. As a result, we continue to back the 2014 federal guidance that provided resources to improve school climate through positive interventions and nondiscriminatory disciplinary practices. All students deserve safe, secure and welcoming learning environments.
