Requires State to enter into contract for personal protective equipment and COVID-19 testing kits for purchase by institutions of higher education
S 3152 (Pou, Ruiz) As the COVID-19 pandemic continues, the health and safety of students and staff is paramount. Many higher education institutions are having difficulty purchasing the equipment and supplies necessary to ensure that students and staff can remain safe. By requiring the State to coordinate the purchase of COVID-19 related protection and testing, this legislation will help higher education institutions secure essential personal protective equipment and other supplies.
