Establishes study commission to examine development of mutually beneficial relationship between institutions of higher education and municipalities

S 356 (Cryan) A 2311 (Calabrese, Jasey) This bill establishes a study commission that will study mutually beneficial relationship between the State’s institutions of higher educational the municipalities in which the institutions are located.  This will allow municipalities to work with institutions of higher education, including our community colleges, to look at how they can work together to benefit each other and the greater community.  This will help both our higher education institutions and their surrounding communities. As NJEA represents employees at our community colleges. We thank the sponsors for including us on the commission.
