For too long, New Jersey law has overlooked the impact that grief can have on mothers and families who are experiencing miscarriage, challenges with fertility, or adoption issues. 

Anyone suffering from the loss of a child to miscarriage, a failed adoption or unsuccessful fertility treatment has been forced to grieve in silence - unable to avail themselves of job protections granted by New Jersey paid family leave. By passing A3505/S2978, New Jersey would be the first state in the nation to codify commonsense protection for mothers and families suffering these and other traumatic life events.
 
Together, we must right this wrong.

A3505 has already passed in the Assembly, and now it's time for the Senate to act.
