  “Manufacturing in Higher Education Act”; requires various State entities to promote manufacturing career pathways for students and provides assistance to manufacturing industry

S 3216 (Oroho, Greenstein)  NJEA supports advancing innovative learning opportunities for students to help their career prospects in numerous fields, including manufacturing.  This bill aims to leverage the deep experience of our vocational schools and our county colleges to move interested students into productive roles in the manufacturing sector.  This bill rightly seeks a collaborative approach that brings together the talents of multiple institutions and educators in the common goal of helping students succeed.
