Condemns inflammatory rhetoric and abuse targeted at Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders and recognizes contributions of these individuals and communities in New Jersey

AR239 (Chiaravalotti, Mukherji) SR120 (Gopal, Weinberg)  NJEA strongly condemns the rise of hate crimes against Asian-Americans, as shown in the recent horrific attacks in Georgia. These actions have no justification in a democratic society built on tolerance, respect, and the right of people to live freely and with dignity.
