Concerns speech rights of student journalists at public schools and public institutions of higher education

S108 (Gill, Turner) In this time of challenges to journalism and other news gathering across the nation, it is critical that students recognize their own individual freedoms of expression and exercise it within educational institutions for news and editorial purposes.  The bill provides the mechanisms for policies to guarantee these rights, while also including common sense safeguards within constitutional bounds.
