S 3094 A 4856: Requires Internet websites and web services of school districts, charter schools, and renaissance schools to be accessible to persons with disabilities

S 3094 A 4856

Requires Internet websites and web services of school districts, charter schools, and renaissance schools to be accessible to persons with disabilities.

S 3094 (Ruiz, Beach) A 4856 (Lampitt, Benson, Caputo):  NJEA strongly supports ensuring that all school websites meet the highest standards of accessibility as outlined in the most recent version of the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines. What’s more, the bill would create a process for the commissioner to engage with districts to help them meet these standards. NJEA supports this common-sense measure to bring all school websites up-to-date.

NJEA supports S 4021 and asks that you do the same.
