A 6100 (Mukherji,Jasey, Timberlake, Stanley) S 4021 (Gopal) The AAPI community has made great contributions to American history and the school curriculum should reflect their accomplishments. These straightforward and common-sense bills align with current representative curricula standards and will help portray the cultural and economic diversity of the AAPI community. What’s more, misunderstanding from the COVID-19 pandemic has caused a significant rise in racism and violence against the community and establishing an AAPI curriculum in schools is one way to help address this challenge.
